Pastor Danny Thornton
Pastor Danny is the founding and senior pastor of River of Life Church, a ministry of Solid Rock Outreach Ministries, and has been ministering in the Syracuse area for over 25 years. His ministry began humbly as he served in an outreach he establish for those in need. He then, with hands laid on him, started an inner-city church in the heart of Syracuse. Against all odds, River of Life Family Church flourished into one of the most respected ministries in the Syracuse area. Today, as the Senior Pastor, Pastor Danny has imparted his dynamic charisma in teaching and evangelising a lost world. He is responsible for establishing Solid Rock Outreach Ministries, which includes its own Bible Training Program called School of the Word and now administering Hillsong’s Faith Works Bible College.

Welcome to Faith Works Bible College in Syracuse, NY! We are very excited to be Syracuse’s first extension college from the world-renowned Hillsong International Leadership College in Sydney, Australia!
Faith Works is a two-year intensive study of God’s Word designed to give students a deeper understanding and knowledge of God’s Word. Our courses are designed to impart students with the faith, wisdom, truth and revelation necessary to pursue purpose and fulfill destiny.
As Christians, our journey of learning never ends. It is God’s desire to continue to mold us, teach us and guide us through His Word. Faith Works Bible College is a place where God is teaching and guiding His people.
I am confident that these courses will bless you with priceless wisdom and revelation that will move you forward in fulfilling all that God has for you. Faith Works is a place where you can make a solid investment that has a lifelong return.
